One pool, every client
Your pages are a single firm-wide pool. A quiet client uses three; a heavy one uses two hundred. You decide, not us.
Unused pages roll over
Irish VAT is bi-monthly. Quarter-ends spike. Carry a month forward and buy for your average, not your busiest month.
We never stop mid-month
Go over and we talk to you. Dext keeps taking your documents at the cap, then won't extract them until your next bill date.
What firms pay today.
Dext has a 10-client minimum. A four-client practice still pays for ten: €229.90 a month before a single invoice is read. And the meter runs per client, so every client you win makes the bill bigger.

Dext Essentials, EU public list price, monthly billing, excludes VAT. dext.com, August 2026. Annual billing is 13% less. Dext has a 10-client minimum, so a 4-client practice still pays for 10.
And the columns don't buy the same thing. The Dext column buys capture and extraction: reading the document. The Accruate column includes the checking and the chasing, all in one pool of pages, nothing metered separately:

How firms bill this on.
You're an accountant. You already know how to price. Here's the arithmetic, and what most practices do with it.
Your cost per client is your tier divided by your clients
Because the pages are pooled, that number falls every time you take on a new client. Win five clients and your per-client cost drops without you doing anything.
Most firms absorb it
Your fixed monthly fee doesn't change. The hours you stop spending on manual entry become margin. This is the simplest route and the one most practices take.
Or fold it into the fee
Add it to the monthly fee as a line you never itemise. Per-client tools force you to itemise, because their cost moves with every client you win or lose. A pool doesn't.
What happens after the pilot?
You get 60 days' notice before billing starts. No surprise charge, no auto-conversion, no card sitting on file. Firms who join during the pilot lock in 50% off their first year. We haven't set the number yet, and we'd rather work it out with the firms running real month ends through this than guess at it now.

What counts as a "client" or "workspace"?
One workspace per Xero organisation you manage. Free is capped at 5 client workspaces; Practice is unlimited, so if your firm handles 30 clients in Xero, that's 30 workspaces, all under one Accruate login, at no extra cost during the pilot.
How do the pages work?
Your pages are a single pool for the whole firm, not an allowance per client. Free includes 100 a month, Practice includes 1,000, and you spread them across your clients however you like. A quiet client might use three pages; a heavy one might use two hundred. That's your call, not ours.
Whatever you don't use rolls over to the following month, up to one month's worth. And if you do go over on Practice, we won't cut you off mid-month. We'll reach out and talk, rather than stop extracting your documents in the middle of a VAT return.
